Sick of the tick-box exercise? Isn't it time you got some real consultation?

Leeds Tenants Federation is launching a campaign to make landlords really listen.

Now we have a fantastic opportunity to really get our voices heard.  This year our landlords will have to agree with tenants new Local Standards.

These Local Standards are part of the new rules for housing associations, ALMOs and councils set by the Tenant Services Authority.

We are holding three local public meetings to tell you more about these standards and help you think about how you can use this opportunity to make your voice heard.

Next Meeting! Tuesday 13 July from 1.00pm to 17.00pm at the at the Village Hotel South Leeds, Capitol Boulevard, Tingley LS27 0TS. Lunch provided.

This meeting is to tell you about the new Standards that your landlord will have to agree with you. The new Tenant Services Authority has set Standards for your housing service and has asked your landlord to agree with you Local Offers of Service. This will mean giving you the chance to get involved in new Tenant Scrutiny and in agreeing an Annual Report to tenants.

This is an opportunity for tenants and residents to get housing and neighbourhood services improved. We see this as a chance for all tenants to get real consultation and not just another tick-box exercise.
