Policy and plans for housing, regeneration, transport, employment, skills and innovation in your area are now overseen by Leeds City Region - a pilot partnership of 11 local councils. This partnership has extra powers to work together to deliver better policies, services and opportunities for people and communities throughout the region. It aims to join up efforts and resources for better housing, better skills, jobs and training - and better quality of life.
The Network has been set up by Leeds Tenants Federation to give local people a real say in the big decisions about housing, transport, employment, skills and regeneration. These are things that really matter. They have a big impact on you, your home and your community. The Network connects residents right across the Leeds City Region. By sharing views, ideas and experiences, it helps to make sure that decisions and plans truly reflect the needs of local people.
The launch on Wednesday 7 July at the Priory Street Centre in York will be a chance to take part in lively workshops, learn more about the City Region and plot your ideas for the future on our interactive model.
The event runs from 10am to 3pm. To book email Leeds Tenants Federation
